LogicMonitor has appointed Karthik Sj as its new general manager of AI. The move seeks to enhance the company's services by pushing forward its AI-powered hybrid observability solutions for enterprises via the LM Envision platform.

Karthik Sj, with over 20 years of AI leadership experience, is expected to accelerate LogicMonitor's AI mission significantly. As general manager, he spearheads the company's AI for information technology, operations (AIOps) initiatives, and generative AI strategy. 

Christina Kosmowski, Chief Executive Officer of LogicMonitor, spoke with enthusiasm regarding Sj's appointment. She noted, "This strategic hire is the catalyst LogicMonitor was looking for to exponentially propel our existing AI capabilities throughout LM Envision, our hybrid observability platform. Prior to joining LogicMonitor, Sj held a leading position at Aisera, an enterprise Gen AI company. He led the global product and go-to-market teams for five years. His wealth of experience also includes various roles at SAP, with a notable specialization in AI. During his career, Sj has successfully launched several products from the ground up, scaling them to generate annual recurring revenues in excess of $50 million. 

On acceptance of his recent appointment, Sj acknowledged the changing landscape in enterprise AI deployment. He said, "We’re seeing a paradigm shift starting to happen where enterprises are no longer comfortable uploading their proprietary data to hyperscalers for AI projects. Companies want to keep their data where it is and bring AI to where the data resides."
